Small Animals Adoption Process – thank you for your interest in adopting!
Please note: you must have an adoption appointment scheduled in order to come in and take home your new small mammal(s)/exotic animal(s).
1 – View available bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, mice, and other small animals HERE
2 – Complete a small mammal/exotic animal adoption application online using the button below:
3 – Your application is typically processed within TWO business days. You will be contacted about the status of your application via email, so please check junk/spam folders.
4 – During your appointment, if you feel it is a good fit, you can take them home with you!

No adoption fee for small animals!
We do appreciate a “Paw it Forward” donation to help the next small animal that takes your new pet’s place.
OAHS invests an average of $250 into every animal available for adoption.
All rabbits at OAHS are RHDV2 vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and litter trained.
For rabbits only: we request a discounted reimbursement fee of $40 for the RHDV2 vaccine and $25 for the microchip at the time of adoption ($65 total).
