Things pet likes: | Playing tug of war, chewing on bones or chew toys, going for walks, being talked to, being pet as well as just being around people, and cuddling with people when he is tired. |
Things pet doesn’t like: | Baths, sound of vaccum or similar sounds make him anxious, and he tries to avoid them. |
Positive qualities pet has: | House trained, absolutely loves people, is kennel trained, is very attentive all the time waiting for commands or cues to do something. When he’s scared he just needs someone he loves to be near him to make him feel safe. He’s always wagging his tail. He’s a big puppy at heart. |
Reason for rehoming pet | We have 2 small dogs. We rescued Buddy from being put down due to no room for him. He wasn’t raised with dogs and can get into the rare fight with them over something or when our small dog with a bossy attitude scares Buddy into a corner he is quick to nip at small dog and then runs. We are trying to make sure all the dogs are safe. We have trusted him with children of all ages, and he has never had issues with people. He clearly just doesnt know what to do about other dogs and can get very anxious with them or not know how to play with them. |
Kind of home pet needs | A home without other pets is the only need. He is such a people lover and just needs to find a home where he can still love people without any worry about other dogs. |
