Pet Adoption: Nothing makes us happier than finding the perfect match for pets and families. If you are thinking of adding a pet to your family, please make pet adoption your first option. Many wonderful pets are waiting for their families to discover them at OAHS. Click here to learn how to adopt and view available animals.
Lost & Found: Have you lost or found a pet? Please contact OAHS right away at (920) 424-2128, ext 2 then ext 1, to file a lost or found report or submit one online here. All found pets brought to OAHS are scanned for a microchip. Keep your pets safe by making sure they always wear a collar with identification tags with your current information. All stray animals that come to OAHS are posted on the Found Strays Facebook Page.
Rehome Your Pet: We assist pet owners in rehoming their animals. We may also be able to suggest alternatives to surrendering/rehoming. Click here for more information.
Nail Trims/Nail Caps for Cats: Cat nail trims are available by appointment only and a minimum donation of $5 is appreciated for the service. This is a drive-up service. Cat nails usually need to be trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks. Please click here for online scheduling. Questions? Call 920-424-2128 ext 3 then ext 1.
Nail Trims for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs are available during our open hours for small animals, Tuesday 1-5pm, Thursday/Friday 1-6pm and Saturday 11am-3pm. Nail trims for bunnies and guinea pigs are always free, although a donation is appreciated! To scheduled your nail trim appointment, please contact our Small Mammal Coordinator Sarah at sarah@oahs.org.
Cat Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate Return (TNVR):
We offer TNVR services year-round on a limited basis for working/fractious/feral cats by appointment only. Services include spay/neuter, left ear tip, rabies and fvrcp vaccines, injectable pain medication, topical flea and ear mite treatments. If in need of services please e-mail tawana@oahs.org with the following information: Location, number of cats, and property owner name.
Low-Cost Vaccination and Microchip Community Clinics: OAHS holds community vaccination and microchip clinics for the public – please click here for clinic dates.
Educational Programs and Tours: OAHS provides tours and educational programs at OAHS on Mondays and Tuesdays, between the hours of 11am and 4:30pm. Groups need to be no larger than 12 children at one time. For liability reasons there is no hands on with the animals during tours or programs.To make arrangements for an Educational Program or Tour please contact Cheryl at cheryl@oahs.org or call (920) 424-2128, ext 103. Programs and tours must be scheduled a minimum of three weeks in advance of your desired date. Click here for more information.
Cat Behavior Counseling: Does your cat have a litter box problem or exhibit some kind of behavior you don’t understand? Maybe we can help. E-mail cheryl@oahs.org with your contact information or call (920) 424-2128, ext 103. Be sure to leave your name, phone number, and email address, along with a brief message explaining the issue.
Community Pet Food Pantry: If you are struggling financially to feed your pets and need pet food, please call us at (920) 424-2128 option 3, then option 3 again.
Engraved ID Tags: You can purchase an engraved ID tag for your pet at OAHS, available in a variety of shapes and colors. Tags are $5 for a small and $7 for a large.
Emergencies/First Responders: Whether it is a fire, car accident, domestic abuse case, crime scene or natural disaster, OAHS assists with rescuing and housing animals until it is safe for them to return to their homes.
Referrals – Veterinarians/Behavior Assistance/Classes/etc: If OAHS can’t help you, we will try to find someone who can. OAHS has a list of area veterinarians, dog obedience classes and a vast amount of animal behavioral information.
