Canine Partners

Every dog deserves some one-on-one time with a nice person like you. Dog walkers take dogs for a daily walk.


Pet Therapy

This is your chance to bring a bit of joy and happiness into the lives of those in local nursing homes.



There are many volunteer opportunities available at OAHS, whether you want to help by working hands-on with the animals, volunteering at outreach events, or even just by dropping off a donation bank at a local business. Volunteer Requirements

The first step is to attend a volunteer orientation.

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Be able to commit to 3 months of service
  • Minimum of 8 hours per month
